- What vetting and background checks are performed on your Security Services teams?
All staff are SIA licensed and go through stringent 5-year background checks, which meet the industry standard BS7858. All Adept Corporate Services staff have been issued with unique I.D Cards to provide all clients with additional peace of mind.
- What training do your security services teams receive?
A wide range of courses are offered to our staff, this is to ensure we can offer our clients a better standard or service and give our staff more confidence in carrying out there day to day duties. Our minimum training programme includes the following:

Anti & Counter Terrorism Training
Terror Threat Awareness
Emergency First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work

- How are your Security Services teams monitored?
Security Officers are monitored using an innovative electronic patrol management system. This gives a real-time view of officer patrols throughout the shift. With live view available, clients have to ability to log in and review all patrols. This is all backed up with live visuals from our advanced 24hr CCTV Monitoring Centre.
We also monitor the team's performance with regular review meetings. This gives our officers a platform to voice both positive and negative feedback on their roles, something we feel is invaluable in improving standards for both staff welfare and service to our clients.
- Do your Security Officers keep daily reports?
It’s standard practice for our staff to produce daily reports, these reports are tailor-made to capture information that is relevant to each individual client and their specific needs.
We also have a platform which can be used for any health and safety checks, which ensure all our reporting is paperless.

- What type and level of insurance do you hold?
We Currently hold a £10 million Public and Employee Liability Insurance.
- I don’t have an SIA License, but I want to work for Adept, can I still apply?
Yes, you can still apply, Adept are willing to invest in the right people who have the credentials and passion to work for Adept. I started working for Adept without an SIA licence and now I hold both a Door Supervisor and CCTV Badge, along with the additional training I have received in a number of fields. Adept in not just a job, it’s a long-term career choice with genuine paths for progression.
As Adept are an SIA approved contractor they can issue you with a letter of dispensation whilst you wait for your licence application to be processed and approved by the SIA, so you can start work much sooner than you think.
